WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – A Vernon man was struck and killed Saturday morning on I-84 in West Hartford.
Veto Bonan, 28, lost control of his vehicle and drove from the westbound side of 84 near exit 41 across the grassy median onto the eastbound side and came to a rest in the brush near exit 41 eastbound.
He got out of his vehicle and was hit by oncoming traffic, pronounced dead at the scene.
It happened just before 6 a.m. and snarled traffic for much of the morning.
