(Newington, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – With warmer weather comes more in the way of road projects, both at the state and local levels.
Kevin Nursick is a spokesman for the Connecticut Department of Transportation. He says there will be dozens of bridge, pavement, and milling projects underway.
Nursick says expect more drivers on the roads in the coming months with vacation season.
He says the department is reminding drivers to slow down in work zones and avoid distracted driving, adding that the busiest time tends to be between now and the end of november for road projects.
